Manchester United
Manchester United won the Champions League three times. Their first one in the 1966-77 season with Bobby Charlton with a double, George Best, Brian Kidd in Wembley in versus SL Benfica. The second time came in 1999 in the Camp Nou versus Bayern München in a dramatic final with goals by Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The latest Champions League trophy dates back to 2008 versus Chelsea in yet another dramatic finale in a penalty shoot-out (6-5). They played two more Champions League finals in Rome 2009 and 2011 in Wembley versus FC Barcelona but they came second.
Juventus FC
Juventus FC won two European Trophies, the first one came in the 1984-85 season thanks to a goal by Michelle Platini from 11 meters in the 59th minute of the game, which gave them the first European cup versus Liverpool FC although it was a tragic night for the Bianconeri because 39 fans lost their lives and up to 600 got injured when the Heysel Stadium terraces in Brussels fell down. The second European trophy for Juventus came in the 1995-1996 season versus Ajax in a( 4-2) penalty shoot-out after the game ended 1-1 in normal time.
Young Boys
Young Boys, one of the most successful Swiss teams of all time with eleven participations in the UEFA Champions League. They got to the semis of the UEFA Champions League in the 1958-1959 season which they lost versus Stade de Remis by 1-3 (aggregate). This year, Young Boys entered the UEFA Champions League after a( 1-2) victory versus the Croatian team Dynamo Zagreb thanks to goals by Izet Hajrovic in the 7th minute and Guillaume Hoarau in the 66th minute of the game to be in the group stage.
